Technician
As a Pipeline and irrigation technician you will work with heavy equipment to ensure the safe and
efficient installation of pipelines, pumps, and irrigation products. This includes diagnosis on pumps andturbines, installation and repair of PVC and HDPE pipeline products including fusing pipe from 6”-48” indiameter.Your day will require you to work with power tools, hand tools, ensure all proper PPE is used along with following all Western Water safety procedures. All training is paid for by Western Water.
Electrician
As an Irrigation Electrician with Western Water you will work on new construction of irrigation projects including pump sites, VFD motor controls and pivot wiring. This includes running cables from #10AWG to 500KCMIL, terminations, building services and climbing pivot towers. Irrigation Electricians will also work with customer service requests, which requires diagnostic skills and ensuring all field wiring is done to Western Water and current CEC standards. Apprentices and journeypersons are encouraged to apply, as all training will be paid for by Western Water.
